Summary
This study tests a group training program called PriCARE/CARIÑO for parents of children aged 18 months to 6 years. The program teaches skills like praising good behavior and ignoring minor misbehavior to improve parent-child relationships and reduce stress. Researchers will follow about 1,900 families to see if the program lowers child maltreatment reports and harsh parenting.
