New counseling aims to help Cancer-Stricken parents talk to their kids
NCT ID NCT07341815
Summary
This study is testing two different counseling programs designed to help parents who have advanced cancer communicate better with their teenage and young adult children about the disease. Researchers are comparing a shorter, education-focused program with a longer program that includes practice exercises like role-playing. The goal is to see which approach better supports parents in having these difficult conversations and reduces their stress about parenting.
