First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is developing and testing two short online writing exercises to help parents in the Southeast US become more accepting of their sexual and gender minority children (ages 15-29). About 129 parents who identify as heterosexual and cisgender and who report some non-acceptance will participate. The goal is to see if these simple tools can reduce rejecting behaviors and increase support.
