Hidden heart rhythms uncovered before valve surgery
NCT ID NCT03561805
First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at people with severe aortic stenosis who are scheduled for a TAVI procedure. Researchers use a portable heart monitor for at least a week before the procedure to find hidden heart rhythm problems that might otherwise go unnoticed. The goal is to see if catching these issues early can lead to changes in treatment and improve recovery after the valve replacement.
