First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study follows up to 200 people who have a leak around a previously implanted heart valve (mitral or aortic). The leak can cause heart failure or destroy red blood cells. Doctors use a special device called the Occlutech PLD to close the leak without open-heart surgery. The registry will check how safe and effective the device is over three years.
