Summary
This study tested whether a nerve block given before open-heart surgery (coronary artery bypass) could reduce the amount of strong anesthetics needed to keep heart rate and blood pressure stable during the procedure. 35 adults participated. The approach aims to improve safety and recovery by limiting high doses of anesthesia.
