NCT ID NCT06842667
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether watching a short video of people sharing their experiences with suicidal thoughts (called a "Papageno story") could help reduce hopelessness and suicidal thinking. Over 500 young adults who had recently wished they were dead watched the video and answered questionnaires. The goal was to see if the video increased protective factors like hope and a sense of control.
