First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at people with stage 4 pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (a rare, slow-growing cancer) that cannot be cured. It compares two approaches: near-total tumor removal surgery plus medical treatment versus medical treatment alone. The goal is to see if surgery helps patients live longer and have a better quality of life. About 200 adults with grade 1-2 tumors will take part.
