First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether removing most of the visible tumors (debulking surgery) in people with stage 4 pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pan-NET) can help them live longer and feel better compared to standard medical treatments alone. About 200 adults with slow-growing, advanced pan-NET will be randomly assigned to receive either surgery plus usual care or usual care alone. The goal is to see if surgery improves survival, quality of life, and reduces hospital visits.
