First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests a two-dose pandemic H5N1 (bird flu) vaccine in 120 organ transplant recipients to see if it is safe and triggers a strong immune response. Transplant patients are at high risk for severe flu, but no data exists on how well pandemic flu vaccines work in them. The trial will measure antibody levels and monitor for side effects and graft rejection.
