Doctors test tiny camera to map hidden pancreas growths

NCT ID NCT03729453

Summary

This study is testing a tiny camera, called a pancreatoscope, used during surgery for a pancreatic growth called IPMN. The goal is to see if this tool helps surgeons find more hidden growths that standard methods might miss. The results will help plan a larger future study to see if this leads to better long-term outcomes for patients.
