Lab-Grown Mini-Tumors could personalize pancreatic cancer care
NCT ID NCT06666803
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study aims to grow miniature versions of pancreatic tumors (called organoids) from small biopsy samples taken during a routine endoscopic procedure. Researchers will check if these lab-grown organoids match the original tumor's genetics and behavior. If successful, this approach could help doctors test which drugs might work best for each patient. The study involves 60 adults with suspected pancreatic cancer.
