Researchers look back to see which surgery is better for tumors
NCT ID NCT05128890
Summary
This study aims to compare two types of surgery for pancreatic and liver tumors: traditional open surgery and newer minimally invasive techniques. Researchers will look at the medical records of over 400 patients who had these surgeries between 2006 and 2020. They want to see which method leads to better patient survival, shorter hospital stays, fewer complications, and more reasonable costs.
