Scientists try to 'heat up' cold pancreatic tumors with radiation and immunotherapy combo

NCT ID NCT07312422

Summary

This study is testing whether a low dose of radiation can help turn a patient's immune system against their pancreatic cancer, making it more responsive to a new immunotherapy drug. It combines this radiation with the drug and standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this three-part approach is safe and more effective at controlling the cancer than current treatments.
