Doctors test direct tumor chemo shot to fight tough pancreatic cancer

Summary
This study is testing if injecting chemotherapy directly into pancreatic tumors using a special ultrasound-guided needle can help control the cancer better than standard IV chemotherapy alone. It will involve 20 adults with locally advanced pancreatic cancer who have not had prior treatment. Researchers will compare survival and tumor response between patients who get the direct injection plus standard chemo and those who get only standard chemo.
