New Two-Pronged attack on tough pancreatic cancer shows promise
NCT ID NCT04257448
Summary
This study tested a two-step treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer. First, patients received standard chemotherapy plus experimental drugs designed to make cancer cells more vulnerable. If their disease was controlled after three cycles, they moved to a second phase receiving immunotherapy. The main goals were to find safe drug doses and see if this sequential approach could help control the cancer.
