Freeze and fight: new combo therapy tested for tough pancreatic cancer

NCT ID NCT07306286

Summary

This study is testing a two-part treatment for locally advanced pancreatic cancer that has worsened after standard first-line chemotherapy. It combines a procedure that freezes and destroys tumor cells (cryoablation) with an immunotherapy drug designed to help the immune system attack the cancer. The main goal is to see if this approach helps patients live longer and is safe for those who have run out of other options.
