New combo attack on tough pancreatic cancer
NCT ID NCT07407231
Summary
This study is testing whether a two-step treatment can better control pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Adults with locally advanced disease will first receive standard chemotherapy. If the cancer does not worsen, they will then receive a highly focused, high-dose radiation treatment (SBRT) aimed at the main tumor. The goal is to see if this combination slows the cancer's growth and is safe for patients.
