Surgeons test new stitch method to speed recovery from pancreatic cancer surgery

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two surgical reconstruction techniques leads to fewer stomach-emptying problems after pancreatic cancer surgery. Researchers will enroll 124 patients undergoing surgery and randomly assign them to one of the two techniques. They will track recovery, complications, quality of life, and certain blood markers for up to a year to see which method works better.
