New combo therapy aims to shrink pancreatic tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether giving a specific chemotherapy regimen (NALIRIFOX) along with high-dose radiation and another chemo drug (capecitabine) before surgery can help people with pancreatic cancer that has not spread far. The goal is to shrink the tumor enough to allow successful removal. About 60 adults with borderline resectable or locally advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma will take part. Researchers will track how long participants live without the cancer growing or coming back, and how the treatment affects quality of life.
