NCT ID NCT03991962
First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tested a two-step treatment for people with pancreatic cancer that is either borderline removable or locally advanced but hasn't spread. First, patients received a strong chemotherapy combination called modified FOLFIRINOX, followed by precise, high-dose radiation (SBRT). The goal was to see if this approach could delay cancer growth better than older treatments. The study enrolled 28 adults who had not received prior cancer therapy.
