AI hunts for silent cancer in millions of health records

NCT ID NCT05973331

Summary

This study is testing a computer model designed to spot people at high risk for pancreatic cancer by analyzing their electronic health records. It will follow over 6 million adults from 44 U.S. healthcare centers for up to three years to see if the model's predictions are accurate and how early it can flag a future cancer diagnosis. The goal is to validate a tool that could help doctors identify patients who might benefit from earlier screening.
