Summary
This study tested whether adding two drugs, paricalcitol (a form of vitamin D) and hydroxychloroquine, to standard chemotherapy could better control advanced pancreatic cancer that has spread. The goal was to see if this four-drug combination could shrink tumors more effectively and help patients live longer. It was a small, completed Phase 2 trial involving 10 patients with advanced disease.
