New combo therapy aims to tame inoperable pancreatic cancer

NCT ID NCT07407231

First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (SBRT) after standard chemotherapy can help control locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 18 adults will receive chemotherapy first, then if the cancer hasn't spread, they'll get SBRT to the main tumor, followed by more chemo. The goal is to see how many patients respond and how long the cancer stays under control.
