First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study will track 1000 people who receive a pancreas transplant to see if a special transport system (PancreasPak) helps the organ work better than standard methods. Researchers will compare rates of organ failure, hospital stay length, and survival up to one year after transplant. The goal is to find the best way to preserve donor pancreases and improve outcomes for recipients.
