Scientists scan pancreas to unlock diabetes secrets

NCT ID NCT03585153

Summary

This research study aims to develop better MRI scanning methods to examine the pancreas in people with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will scan 250 participants, including those recently diagnosed with diabetes, to understand how the pancreas changes during disease development. The goal is to create standardized imaging techniques that could help detect diabetes earlier and track disease progression in future studies.
