New combo therapy for advanced lung cancer: safe or risky?

Summary
This early-stage study tests whether giving palliative radiotherapy together with the drug lurbinectedin is safe for people with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer that has spread beyond the chest. About 22 adults whose cancer worsened after initial chemotherapy will receive both treatments. The goal is to see if the combination causes more side effects than either treatment alone.
