One-Shot radiation: a faster path to comfort for women with advanced cancer?

NCT ID NCT04516135

Summary

This study is testing if a single session of radiation therapy can relieve symptoms like pain and bleeding from advanced gynecologic cancers as effectively as the standard treatment of multiple sessions over two weeks. It involves 28 women whose cancer has spread, aiming to improve their quality of life with a less burdensome treatment schedule. Researchers will also compare side effects and study how the treatments affect the body's immune system and bacteria.
