Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of 286 patients who died in 2024 while receiving palliative care at NOVO Hospital. The goal is to understand their backgrounds, how their care was managed, and how often their general practitioner was involved. By learning from these cases, the researchers hope to find ways to refer patients to palliative care earlier and improve coordination between the hospital and community doctors.
