NCT ID NCT07387224
Summary
This study is testing a screening tool called NECPAL to help doctors identify hospitalized patients with serious, long-term illnesses who might benefit from palliative care. Palliative care focuses on improving quality of life and managing symptoms. Researchers will use the tool on 200 adult patients to see how well it works and to understand how many patients have these needs but are not currently receiving this type of care.
