Summary
This study checks if a simple tool called NECPAL can help doctors identify hospitalized patients with advanced chronic diseases who would benefit from palliative care. Researchers will screen 200 adults to see how many have unmet palliative needs and track their health over time. The goal is to improve early support for these patients.
