NCT ID NCT03368248
First seen Jun 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026
Summary
This study surveyed doctors and nurses in Paris-area newborn intensive care units (NICUs) to understand how they make decisions about end-of-life care, including when to stop life support. The goal was to see how well staff are trained in palliative care and how they involve parents in these difficult choices. The study did not test a new treatment but rather gathered information on current practices.
