First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding personalized supportive care (like help with symptoms and emotional support) to standard cancer treatment helps patients feel more comfortable discussing their health and future. About 83 adults with advanced solid tumors who are starting a phase I cancer drug trial will take part. Half will get the extra supportive care, and the other half will not, so researchers can compare how they cope and communicate.
