Can extra support improve cancer trial experiences?

NCT ID NCT03667378

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding personalized supportive care (like help with symptoms and emotional concerns) to standard treatment helps people with advanced solid tumors who are starting early-phase cancer drug trials. About 83 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the extra supportive care or usual care alone. The goal is to see if this approach improves how patients talk about their symptoms, future worries, and coping strategies.
