Scientists map Kids' palate changes in Cross-Bite treatment
NCT ID NCT06522607
Summary
This study aims to understand how the shape of the roof of the mouth (palate) changes in children with a specific bite problem (posterior cross-bite) after they are treated with a rapid palatal expander. It will observe 36 children with different facial growth patterns. The main goal is to gather detailed 3D measurements of the palate before and after treatment to see if changes differ based on a child's facial structure.
