New gum surgery treatments aim to ease patient pain
NCT ID NCT06459947
Summary
This study tested two methods to help patients heal faster and feel less pain after gum graft surgery. Researchers compared a medical-grade glue (cyanoacrylate) to a patient's own concentrated growth factors (CGF) applied to the roof-of-the-mouth donor site. The goal was to see which treatment better reduced pain and sped up wound healing for the 60 participants.
