Summary
This study tested a short therapy called Painhunting for adults in Kazakhstan who felt depressed after a stressful life event, like losing a loved one. 84 people were randomly assigned to get the therapy right away or join a waitlist. The therapy involves up to six one-on-one sessions, and the main goal was to see if it lowered depression scores after two weeks.
