Summary

This study aims to understand the causes of pain in people with fibrous dysplasia of bone or McCune-Albright syndrome, rare conditions that can cause bone pain, deformities, and fractures. Researchers will compare 20 patients with 20 healthy volunteers using pain tests to see if the nervous system is overly sensitive. No treatment is given; the goal is to learn more about how pain works in these conditions.
