New shot at relief: testing three ways to block pain after mastectomy

NCT ID NCT06807164

Summary

This study aims to find a better way to manage chronic nerve pain that some women experience after breast cancer surgery. It will compare three different pain-blocking treatments: a nerve block injection, a Botox injection, and a capsaicin patch. Researchers will enroll 123 women whose pain isn't well-controlled by standard pills and follow them for 24 weeks to see which treatment works best.
