New injection could cut teen Athletes' pain after knee surgery

Summary
This study is testing if a single numbing injection, given during ACL knee surgery, helps teens and young adults feel less pain and need fewer opioid pain pills in the week after their operation. Researchers will compare pain and medication use between patients who get the injection and those who do not. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage post-surgery pain.
