New pain block may beat standard care for scoliosis surgery

Summary
This study tests a nerve block (MTP) against standard patient-controlled pain medication (PCA) in 40 adults having scoliosis surgery. The goal is to see which method provides better pain control and reduces the need for extra pain drugs. Participants will be monitored for 24 hours after surgery.
