New nerve block tested to ease pain after major back surgery
NCT ID NCT06820190
Summary
This study is comparing two different ways to manage pain after major spinal surgery for scoliosis. It will test a newer type of nerve block (MTP block) against a standard patient-controlled pain pump (PCA). The goal is to see which method provides better pain relief and reduces the need for strong pain medications in the first day after surgery.
