Could skipping a common pain drug improve cancer pain relief?

Summary
This study looks at a procedure called celiac plexus neurolysis, which uses alcohol to block pain nerves in people with pancreatic cancer. Doctors usually inject another drug, bupivacaine, first to prevent pain from the alcohol, but it's not clear if it helps or might even reduce the block's effect. The trial will compare pain levels and safety in 180 adults who get the block with or without bupivacaine.
