Summary
This study looked at whether taking an oral muscle relaxant (tizanidine) before spinal anesthesia can improve pain control during and after lower limb surgery. 64 adults scheduled for elective leg surgery participated. Researchers measured how quickly the anesthesia worked, how long pain relief lasted, and pain scores over 24 hours.
