Summary
This study tested if taking an oral muscle relaxant (tizanidine) before surgery improves pain relief when combined with standard spinal anesthesia (levobupivacaine) for leg operations. It involved 64 adults having planned lower limb surgeries lasting under 2.5 hours. Researchers measured how long the pain relief lasted and how much pain patients felt after surgery.
