New pain block may cut opioid use after stomach surgery

Summary

This study compares a new nerve block technique (EOIB) to a standard combination of blocks for pain after laparoscopic stomach removal. The goal is to see if the new method works just as well or better, reducing the need for strong painkillers. One hundred adults scheduled for this surgery will participate.
