Summary

This study looks at whether adding a medicine called dexmedetomidine to the standard numbing drug bupivacaine can give longer and better pain relief for children after open appendix removal. About 60 children will take part. The goal is to see if this combination reduces the need for extra pain medicine and helps kids wake up more calmly from anesthesia.
