New pain block may offer better relief after hernia surgery

Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks for pain after inguinal hernia surgery. One is a newer technique called the anterior iliac block, and the other is a standard ilioinguinal/iliohypogastric block. The goal is to see which provides longer pain relief and higher patient satisfaction. The study will enroll 60 adults aged 18-65 who are scheduled for elective hernia surgery.
