First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if injecting Exparel (a long-lasting painkiller) into the vaginal cuff before a minimally invasive hysterectomy could reduce pain after surgery. It was designed for adults having robotic or laparoscopic hysterectomy for non-cancer reasons. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
