Summary

This study tested whether a special numbing injection (serratus posterior superior intercostal plane block) can reduce pain in adults getting a pacemaker or similar heart device. Sixty participants received either the numbing medicine or a placebo. Researchers measured pain levels during surgery and for 24 hours after, along with sleep quality and satisfaction.
