Summary
This study tested if a special nerve block (SPSIPB) can reduce pain in adults getting a heart device like a pacemaker. Sixty people took part, receiving either the nerve block with numbing medicine or a sham injection. Researchers measured pain levels during and up to 24 hours after surgery, along with sleep quality and satisfaction.
